Father's Day!

Hello dears! I know I haven't posted in a while, and I am so sorry! This past week I was off at Camp Cherokee, a christian camp. No electronics all week, and no distractions. It was awesome! I'll tell more about it in my next post! For now, I have some poem-writing to do. Since I already wrote a poem for my mom on Mother's Day, I'm going to do one for my daddy, too.

Father's Day
Starting the very day I was born,
you have always held me in your arms.
You have kept me safe throughout the years,
even when I really didn't deserve it.
At times I've cried, kicked, and screamed,
but even then you loved me.
I can't even put into words how awesome I know you are.
From now until the end of time,
I'll always be your little Daddy's Girl.
I may not get to spend as much time with you,
but I love it when I get the chance.
I don't know much about cars and trucks,
but that's ok, because you teach me.
All my life,
I've always looked up to you.
I've admired your strength, your intelligence,
and your determination to never give up.
I've seen you healthy, I've seen you sick,
but even at your worst, you're still a great dad.
Happy Father's Day, Daddy
I love you!
