Almost Time For School! (Short Update)

Hey guys! So I know I haven't posted in a while, but I just got done with Band Camp! It was so awesome! I actually had a really fun time and made some new friends too! (Plus I got to see my band director in a dress, so that was pretty sweet) School starts Friday, and I promise that by the end of the first (full) week, I'll have a posting schedule made. I know, I know: I've been promising that for a LONG time, but I'll get it done. Anyhoo~

My laptop works again! My brother Sam tried to turn it on and suddenly it started working again! :0 I'm so happy! I've really missed blogging from my laptop, since it's so much faster. It'll definitely make blogging funner and quicker. Yay!

Anyways, I'll write more when I can. Just wanted to give a quick update!

Band Camp & New Beginnings

Hello all! So as I'm sure you've noticed, I went on a bit of a hiatus for a bit. I didn't really think about posting, and I was just so busy that I never found time to do it. I promise that I'll start posting more consistently! Band Camp started today, and it lasts for 2 weeks. :D After that I only have ONE WEEK before school!!! :0 Once school starts and I figure out my schedule, I'll make a list of what days I'll be posting on. I'll try to post as often as possible, but it all depends on when I have Marching Band practice and whatnot. Anyhoo! On to more exciting topics!~

Band camp has officially begun, and I'm so happy! Today was the first day, so I was a little out of it. I'm out of practice, so today I got a little wore out. This week it's 9-3, and next week it's 9-9. Our show is going to be amazing!!! We're playing a tribute to Journey & Queen. (You 80's fans will recognize those groups!) The music sounds fantastic! The only problem is that Clarisse (my clarinet) is messed up. ;-; I'm having to rent a plastic one while we send her off to get fixed. Wish me luck!

As some of you may know, school starts in 3 weeks! I'm finally a Sophomore! I'm super psyched, but at the same time I'm not ready for summer to end. Ya know? I'm looking forward to seeing my friends, but then again.../homework/. Can I get an amen? (Kidding XD)

All that aside, I hope you're doing lovely!~ Have a great rest of Summer! Oh, and this school year? Challenge yourself. Don't go with the flow; surf your own wave. I've said it once, and I'll say it time & time again: Normal is boring. Be who you really are. Don't hold back; you're only going to live your life once. In class, pay attention. Your teachers mean the best, even if you disagree. If nothing else, respect that they spent years in college just to be able to teach.
