Trip to Atlanta? What's the worst that could happen?

Hey guys! Sorry for the wait! I've been so busy with babysitting and marching band, that I've been kinda procrastinating. Anyways, here's my next story. :)

So, just the other day, my mom asked if I wanted to ride with her to Atlanta to watch her do makeup. (She volunteers to do makeup for small production companies) Anyways, I figured: "Why not? I could have fun meeting people." Wrong. The trip there was a nightmare!

It started out just fine. Me and mom were driving down the road listening to music, when all of a sudden, storm clouds roll in. Next thing we knew, it was pouring! We'd be driving along and BAM, lighting would strike right beside us!

Eventually, we decided to pull over into a parking lot. We figured we would just wait it out. After about 2 minutes though, lighting started striking all around us!

Luckily, someone mom worked with lived nearby, so we waited out the storm with him, his wife, and his daughter Divinity. His wife even convinced me to sing for her! Normally I wouldn't because I get nervous, but I did! I sang Rolling in the deep while their 1-year-old daughter danced around. It was a lot of fun.

At the shoot, I got to watch mom do her thing, and I met a lot of really cool people!
My advice: When making trips ANYWHERE check the weather before you go! It could of saved me and Momma a LOT of freaking out!

I'll write more soon guys, I'm just tired from band camp. Stay Beautiful, Stay Smart Abbie
